RHB Consulting & Associates
offers environmental health advice to private, industrial and community
clients. The principal consultant, Richard H. Boehnke, has extensive administrative
experience with the Department of Public Health in the City of Toronto.
He was responsible for policy development on many environmental issues
in Toronto, and developed the Department's participation in the lead reduction
project in the South Riverdale and Niagara areas of Toronto. This work
was completed on time, and was completed $500,000 under the $2,600,000
allotted budget for the project.
He recently completed a contract with the University of Cincinnati
to implement a soil/dust sampling project for HUD to determine the level
of lead throughout the United States. Sampling sites have included New
York City, Boston, Milwaukee, Chicago, Cleveland, and various cities and
towns in the states of Rhode Island, Vermont, Wisconsin, Minnesota and
California.
Richard is an instructor with the Continuing Education Program (Educational
Resource Centre) of the University of Cincinnati, Department of Environmental
Health which offers courses in lead inspection and lead abatement contracting
for EPA certification through the UoC Continuing Education Program.
